Winnat or Lose

The ride through the limestone gorge of Winnats Pass has always been a target for many cyclists.
At 2.3 kilometres in length and an average gradient of 10%, this iconic climb has been used no
less than ten times for the National Hillclimb Championships. At it’s steepest part the climb ramps
up to 20%.


Testing Times – 2021 Timetrials May & June

Our timetrial season is now well underway with no fewer than 4 events in May & June – starting with our hilly 10 on theK49/10 Abbots Bromley course on 11th May. The weather provided an unwanted spectacle just before the start with thunder, lightning, torrential rain and finally a heavy coating of hail which laid on roads and verges
